Revolutionary innovation!
For Porsche PCM3.1:
The Evolution of the ISUDAR PCM 3.1 Module: A Commitment to Innovation and Customer Experience
Since 2021, the ISUDAR PCM 3.1 module has undergone continuous refinement based on user feedback and technological advancements.
Over these three years, we have dedicated ourselves to improving this product, culminating in the launch of the third generation, which showcases our commitment to innovation and enhancing the customer experience.
Gen 1: The Groundbreaking Start (2021)
The first generation of the PCM 3.1 module made a impact upon its release, quickly becoming one of the most popular products in its category on forums.
It supported both wireless and wired CarPlay/Android Auto, MirrorLink, and steering wheel controls.
However, user feedback highlighted some issues, including connection stability and sound quality loss.
Gen 2: Addressing Feedback with Innovation
After gathering sufficient user insights, we upgraded to the second generation.
The Gen 2 version introduced two dedicated sound processing chips, replacing the original method of converting digital signals to analog through the main control chip.
This change allowed for superior sound quality compared to Gen 1.
Additionally, we upgraded the software and enhanced the antenna to boost signal strength, addressing previous connectivity issues. And added filters to the power line to reduce disconnection caused by voltage instability issues.
A minor drawback of Gen 2 was its lack of support for the car's built-in microphone, as it operated via the car’s AUX audio input. However, we included a factory-original microphone to ensure functionality.
Gen 3: The Ultimate Experience!!
Building on the strengths of Gen 2, the third generation of the PCM 3.1 module adds support for Bluetooth audio, allowing seamless integration with the car’s built-in microphone.
This upgrade not only enhances user convenience but also significantly improves audio quality.
The Gen 3 module now offers a more complete solution, further elevating the user experience.
Summary of the advantages and disadvantages of each generation of products
Generation 1:
Advantages: Supports wireless and wired CarPlay, Android Auto, MirrorLink, and steering wheel control.
Disadvantages: Connection stability issues and sound quality loss.
Generation 2:
Advantages: Enhanced sound quality, improved connection stability, and software upgrades through external processing chips.
Disadvantages: Incompatible with the car's built-in microphone; dependent on AUX audio.
3rd Generation:
Pros: Supports Bluetooth audio, compatibility with car's built-in microphone, and further improved sound quality.
Cons: Didn't find any cons compared to previous generations!
For Other Apple CarPlay & Android Auto Module:
Added the option to use the original car Bluetooth audio, the sound quality is greatly improved compared to using AUX.
