      Isudar BIS 6.5 non-touchscreen Mini One carplay - Great solution at a very fair price

      I bought the Isudar BIS 6.5 inch BIS Carplay Adapter for my 2019 Mini One with no touch screen display. Due to the number of different head unit and display versions I checked with the customer support line and their response was superfast and very clear and competent so I ordered the product. Shipping time was about 2 weeks and it came well packaged and with printed instructions to install it. The installation guide was ok and works however it could be a bit more detailed for example how to open the connectors for the flatband cable on the circuit board to avoid damage in case someone never did this befoee. Otherwise I was eady to install all cables and adapters on the mini central unit.
      After completing the installation I switched on the system, made the first time connection to my iphone and it worked perfectly right away. Isudar did a great job designing this car play adapter which does not need an expensive touch screen add-on but works super nice with the Mini i-drive control to select all functions. In fact I do like this i-drive control better than the touch screen sustem, as it lets you select the carplay choices much more safely as you do not need to keep your focus on the screen to select soft-buttons on the touchscreen.
      I can only recommend this solution for all Minis without touchscreen central unit, very smart professional solution at a very fair price!

      Product works as advertised

      Product works as advertised. I installed it myself and have plenty of DIY experience including removing body panels and car stereo installations. Positioning of the tiny WiFi antenna on the circuit board was quite tricky and the biggest challenge for me. I used a magnifying glass to position the plug. Overall a great product and a great way to make the BIS 01 a true usable radio.
