Whilst a bit of effort is required to remove the air vents, the vast improvement to using integrated Apple CarPlay is worth the time. The existing Porsche interface was dated and expensive to update the maps therefore the change to iOS apps saves money overtime. I would recommend that someone with experience working on electronic units is best prepared for the work. However, with due caution it could be carried out successfully. A great buy!

Black Screen Issues
Ordering and delivery was positive. The supplied installation information and YouTube instructions made for a straightforward installation. All connections were checked before initial powering up of the unit. Within a few minutes of initial start-up the CarPlay system began to cut out and the screen turn black with corresponding interruption of information. This now occurs at intervals of about 10 minutes or so and lasts about 4 seconds until the screen comes back to life and information returns. The whole CarPlay experience is spoilt by this problem and I have to adjust my music volume back up and wait for the sat nav to return after every interruption. Very annoying and frustrating experience. I have been using CarPlay to try and gather as much information on the problems before contacting Isudar customer support.

Simple upgrade to refresh the PCM
An easy fix but do be careful when removing the clips as they are rather fragile. And make sure to align the cables properly.
Works with Bose, instructions are clear in the booklet provided.

Hello, the module operates through the AUX audio source. Please check if AUX is selected in the settings.

Great item and so glad it’s available as an option to update the Porsche PCMs. Prospective buyers should note that this is not an OEM-like CarPlay or android auto experience. It’s very good, but it may require some tweaking post installation. For me, I cannot get the factory microphone to be usable with CarPlay to make calls. Planning to try installing isudar provided mic next. Just an example. Highly recommend.
